New Playtest Update Brings New Locations, Gatherables & Venari Ascension
Hey Seekers! How have your adventures been so far? Have you been helping all the wonderful people in Caerras with their requests? Did you face any struggles? 🤔
On second thought, I’m sure most of you have become experts by now, and have even tracked down most if not all of the Venari, except some of the new ones I have been finding. 👀 Perhaps, they are tied to the new regions me and Gramps heard about.
OPEN PLAYTEST
Our latest update is now live, and with it, Seekers can explore the new tutorial area, expansions to Base and Arbitrum, and a demo location for Soneium. You’ll be able to find new gatherables and items available to craft that, for example, increase spawn rates and provide movement speed buffs to help traverse these new regions with ease.
Additionally, with our new Sequence integration, players can access the Ascension Terminal in chain locations like Base and Arbitrum to ascend their Venari and items on testnet. Once ascended, players can view the Venari in their Wallet Inventory and optionally bring them back off-chain in-game to acquire Airdrop Shards.
Did traveling to and from Glowing Forest usually take me this long? 🤔 It feels way faster for whatever reason…Â

We were proud to be a part of YGG’s GAP Season 6 and hope to see YGG members back in Caerras for GAP Season 7. 🎉
What a well-trained bunch of Seekers! Did you say they’re from ‘YGG’? I wonder if we’ll be seeing them again!
I wonder what in Tecta has caught its attention… perhaps the soft leaves of Oria bushes? I could definitely sleep in a bed made of those! 😊Â
We’ve also teamed up with our friends at Tribally Games, a web3 gaming portal, to bring LoV to their platform, where users will be able to explore quests and earn rewards on the platform.
Soneium Spark Incubation Program
Legends of Venari has been selected for the Soneium Spark incubation program! We're excited to start this journey on Soneium, Sony’s Layer 2 blockchain, working alongside over 30 projects and partners to bring our vision to life.
VENARI HIGHLIGHT
Visit the Base region and go head-to-toe against these Alpha Venari to earn airdrop shards through their Challenge Quests.
I came across some scarier-looking Venari earlier and that Crei almost looked taller than the trees. 😨 But I did hear they gave some shiny valuables.

What’s New?
Narrative: Developed a tutorial questline and side quests to introduce players to Caerras and the Kore Outbreak.
Art: Created environmental assets for Squalor Grounds, Tectatarian Groves, and the expansions to Base and Arbitrum.
Game Design: Added a new tutorial area, player buff items, gatherables, and more.
Engineering: Integrated Sequence for web3 onboarding and introduced Venari and Item Ascension (testnet minting) via the Ascension Terminal.
