Caerras Welcomes Seekers to First Open Playtest
Welcome new Seekers! I’m sure you have waited long to start your journey and I hope your first few days in Caerras have been awesome! Which Venari did you tame first? 🤩 I hope it wasn’t a fellow Nyrie 🙄 but maybe I’m getting too ahead.
I’m sure some of you might have faced some challenging battles but don’t be afraid to ask for help from other Seekers. Tecta Horizons is a very welcoming place after all! Similarly, many will also seek your help, so make sure to return the favor. 😊
OPEN PLAYTEST LAUNCH
The team has successfully launched the open playtest, allowing new and returning Seekers to explore Caerras and Chain Worlds like Base and Arbitrum. Travel through these locations, complete quests, and earn in-game rewards such as Airdrop Shards from various NPCs.
The open playtest is free to access for anyone on any PC browser (desktop/laptop/handheld gaming PC).
Begin your adventure by visiting Professor Oswald and the faction leaders to uncover the mystery of the Kore outbreak.

What is this glowy thing that Seekers are chasing after so relentlessly? I overheard someone saying they are pretty valuable. 🤔 It wouldn’t hurt to get some during my daily swerte trips, would it?
Maybe I should ask Scout Yorga if I can borrow his carriage for my trips outside the Glowing Forest, or would that be too disruptive for the other Seekers? 😅
Don’t let Gramps’ endless assignments stop you from taking a break. 🤭 Both Venari and Seekers need their rest.

I stumbled upon this one blending into the tall trees of the Glowing Forest! And worst of all, I couldn't even get a good look at it to make a decent drawing and ask if anyone else had seen it too. 😔 It didn’t notice me scampering below, which might be for the best until I learn more about it…

What’s New?
Narrative: Set up a quest creation pipeline with rotating daily and side quests in different locations.
Art: Introduced the Venari carriage and transport station, along with new NPCs and items for future updates.
Design: Expanded crafting and progression with new items and increased the Venari level cap to 20.
Engineering: Improved backend tooling for quest creation and added UI updates for better navigation.
