Hey Seekers, both old and new! It's been a whole month since you heard from me. I'm not sure how long it feels for you, but I've certainly missed you all. 🥺 However, I've stumbled upon some news regarding the Professor himself that I must report, along with sightings of new Venari and locations that I can't wait to share with you. So, grab some tea 🍵 because you're in for a treat!

COMMUNITY UPDATE
Missed out on this month’s X updates? No worries. I’ve made a list of exciting updates just for you! ✅
Early Access Sign-Up Campaign
With the launch of our open-world gameplay on the horizon, we've successfully kicked off our Early Access Campaign across various questing platforms such as CARV, Galxe, and Forge, resulting in over 19,000 sign-ups and counting!
I doubt there are enough hiding places in Glowing Forest to stay out of sight from 19,000 Seekers. 😬
Whitepaper Release
In conjunction with our Early Access sign-up campaign, we held a community hangout on Discord to discuss the release of our new whitepaper that outlines our strategic vision for Legends of Venari.
The world seems to have gotten a lot larger than I remember 🤔 or did I wander into an entirely new area? I've also noticed some strangely unfamiliar Venari. 🕵️
Gameplay Showcase
If you haven't caught up with the new gameplay or had the chance to join our previous closed playtests, here are a few clips from the most recent build.
I already miss seeing Seekers wander around cluelessly in Caerras 😆 but I’m looking forward to meeting many new Seekers soon. 😊
Time sure passes differently in Caerras, wouldn’t you say? 🤭 Make sure to return to the Hub before it gets too late, I hear certain Venari at night can be vicious. 😨
What’s better than running with your Seeker frens on a chilly evening? ❄️ How do you enjoy such occasions? Do you gather around warmth, share meals, or tell stories?
The Inevitable
Reflections at Tectarian Groves
Transfixed to a set of rusty goggles, Professor Oswald traces with his thumb on one of the lenses, creating circles. He leaned forward onto the railing of a creaky bridge, holding the goggles in one hand and a book in another.
Regret.
Inside the cover, it reads "A farewell gift. Good luck, and Happy Damavel." He understood why he was there, at the bridge in Tectarian Groves.
Regret.
Professor Oswald could only think of one person while holding these antiques and the thoughts that came with them. Did I make a mistake? Will he forgive me? Could I have done something different?
"Professor?"
He turned his head, almost straining his neck. He didn't expect anyone. "Kira. What a pleasant surprise."
She was concerned; his smile relaxed her. "Hi. Umm. May I ask what you are doing here? It’s cold." She glimpsed at the goggles and book, excited to know more. "Oh! What did you find?"
"Oh, no. It's a gift," an awkward pause. "From a friend." It was odd for Kira. She had never seen him like this before. She improvised.
"They look... dirty. And old." She unexpectedly paused but continued. "Which is nothing wrong!" The professor laughed. "It's ok, Kira. It's from a very old friend."
He straightened his posture, ready to walk. "Let's celebrate Damavel. Together. Besides... I wouldn't mind some tea and biscuits right about now."
“You’re going to have to tell me more about yourself, you know,” Kira called out, and Professor Oswald chuckled.
He shoved the book and goggles inside his coat. “We can't deny the inevitable, but we can delay it for our peace of mind.”
It seems like Gramps is struggling with the results of past decisions, much like when I struggle with picking Swerte over a fresh batch of Oria berries 🍒 during a good harvest season. But I hope he is doing okay 😥 and that his friend can forgive him. I can’t imagine Gramps could have done anything too terrible, right?
VENARI HIGHLIGHT
Noxis
The Ice Noxis has come a long way since its debut in the minigame. Take a look at its newly revamped model, which will be featured in the upcoming open-world game!
Noxis is a harmless Venari, though, despite not being nocturnal, it prefers to come out only at night to avoid interactions with others. However, its large mushroom-like head can emit a potent gas that temporarily alters your senses and causes hallucinations.
Noxis are quite unassuming, aren’t they? I certainly wouldn't want to be on their bad side. 😅 Although, I wish I had a Noxis with me on my adventures to deter Seekers from pursuing me. 🤭

See you soon in Caerras
I'm super excited to go searching for some Swerte 🍄 with the new Seekers. But remember, it's finders keepers! 🤭 Oh, and I spotted an Arctu scampering about, so there might be other Venari lurking around too. So keep your eyes peeled, okay? 👀✨
